Sheer Perfection

Sheer perfection. We have had a wonderful week in this most delightful accommodation. Also we have been blessed with beautiful weather. Much appreciation for the warm welcome and wine, chocs and eggs. It has been great fun to open the door to a hen paying a visit! Tips for future guests. Bury St Edmunds a must, we hadn’t been before and the cathedral is amazing with a glorious new tower. You can park after 3pm right outside the cathedral. There is an open air car park ‘free after 3’, great savings. Beautiful villages to discover, a favourite, Woolpit and the Tea Cups tea room, the lunch and home made ice cream was lovely. Hoxne is lovely too and close by is Wingfield. The village pub is The De La Pole. The owners are charming and as well as a meal menu there were lots of cakes and scones etc to choose from. Finally we would recommend Ickworth House. Huge National Trust property and extensive walks. Lots of picnic benches for the hamper! Have Fun.
