Stable End is a converted barn set on a 30 acre arable farm, situated on the edge of the attractive village of Walsham-le-Willows and in the curtilage of a 17th Century Suffolk thatched farmhouse. Our holiday cottage is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk, Norfolk & Essex countryside with excellent country walks direct from the property. It is also a perfect base to visit many of Suffolk's attractions and places of interest together with things On the Doorstep.
A warm welcome is assured all year round with under-floor heating and a wood burning stove in the vaulted sitting room. Add to that chocolates, wine, and seasonal flowers on arrival and the scene is set for a lovely, relaxing holiday away, in a truly home from home.
Re-launched in August 2016, Stable End has been converted into a holiday cottage providing all modern facilities whilst maintaining a wealth of exposed beams. Always previously commended year on year with a gold award for achieving excellent feedback and scored 100% for 'Accommodation Overall'.
